The lake-effect snow continues to fall across parts of our viewing area. Along with the snow, its very windy outside and this wind will be felt across Northeast Ohio through Wednesday.
Due to the wintery weather, we have the following alerts across our area:
A LAKE-EFFECT SNOW WARNING continues for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lake Counties through Wednesday morning at 7am.
A WIND-CHILL ADVISORY continues for Northeast Ohio through Wednesday morning.
Expect reduced visibilities and hazardous road conditions all today. Where it is not snowing, expect extreme cold, with below zero wind chills.
This afternoon: Snowy, windy & very cold. Temps: 7-13. Wind chills below zero through the day. Wind: W 15-20, gusts to 30 mph.
TOTAL SNOWFALL by Wednesday Morning:
3"-5"....West & South
4"-8".....Eastern Suburbs
8"-14".....Snowbelt.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy & cold with lingering showers east. Upper teens, low 20s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Low 20s
Friday: Snow likely. Heavy snow is possible. Low/Mid 20s
Saturday: Scattered lake-effect flurries, then partly sunny. Low/mid 20s
Sunday: Partly sunny. Near 30
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for rain/snow mix. Near 40
