All of the state of Ohio is under a slight risk for severe weather.
As a cold front pushes in our direction, heavy rain showers and strong thunderstorms are likely this afternoon.
Some of these storms will bring with them strong winds, in excess of 60 miles per hour, which could lead to downed trees and power outages. Along with the threat for severe weather, flooding is still a concern all across Northeast Ohio.
There is good news a part of this forecast as well - sunny, dry and comfortable weather will move in for Thursday and will linger into the middle of next week.
THIS AFTERNOON: Heavy rain showers and thunderstorms are expected, with strong to severe thunderstorms very likely. Hot and humid. Mid/Upper 80s
