BEDFORD -- Crews are working to recover a man's body at the Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police confirm to Channel 3 that a rescue was underway after a man fell down a steep embankment.
Early Friday evening, a Cleveland Metroparks ranger received a call about a man who had fallen off a cliff.
A passerby noticed a "disturbance" in the snow and branches and alerted authorities.
It appears the man had been walking along a bridle trail at the time he fell down a cliff into a ravine.
It is unknown how long the man may have been down there before he was discovered. There doesn't appear to be any foul play.
Cleveland Metroparks rangers were handling the rescue and are waiting for the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office to arrive.
A Channel 3 News crew is on the scene. Stay with wkyc.com for further updates and Channel 3 News at 11.
