Cuyahoga Falls: Changes in security coming

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The day started with a meeting of principals and police to review security in the Cuyahoga Falls School District.

"We realize that we need to deal with accessibility to our schools. We have older buildings and that is one issue we will address," says Superintendent Todd Nichols.

They will make sure there is one entrance only that is under surveillance during the school day. Monday, they also made sure teachers locked their doors while teaching class.

This week the district plans to continue with tight security. Medina and Willoughby-Eastlake Schools also had more of a police presence today, as did schools throughout the nation.
