STARK COUNTY -- Trinity United Church of Christ is where there's an adult daycare inside.
It helps seniors and those with disabilities but now, because of Washington cuts, some are being told they can't come here.
Joyce French loves meeting friends at the J.R. Coleman adult daycare center. They exercise, play games and keep busy. Joyce has trouble seeing because of macular degeneration but has no trouble smiling.
Joyce used to come five days a week. Now it's down to two, half-days because of that bad word out of Washington -- sequester.
Sequester means they have to cut services.
Back in March, Executive Director Tom Thompson found out federal funding was being cut, a loss of $26,000 for the rest of the year.
When federal money is in place, seniors spend less than $1,000 a month to come here. Now some may have to go to a nursing home at $6,000 a month. Thompson feels that's unfair.
