A line of heavier showers with some rumbles of thunder and gusty wind will move through tonight. These are coming just ahead of a cold front that will take us back into wintry reality tonight.
With the colder air moving in, snow showers will be possible from time-to-time Tuesday around northern Ohio.
It looks like the wind will begin to align Tuesday night and Wednesday to allow Lake Erie to pump in some snow showers. Accumulations (which will be rather light...perhaps only a few inches), but after we've felt temperatures in the 60s this isn't the best of news.
We will be sneaking back toward average highs (mid 40s) for this time of year later in the week and into the weekend. Rain chances will be coming along for the ride too.
Tonight: Rain (some rumbles early) changing to scattered snow showers pre-dawn. Breezy. Mid 30s
Tuesday: Scattered flurries. Little accumulation, if any. Breezy. Upper 30s
Wednesday: Cloudy with scattered snow showers. Accumulations possible in the snowbelt. Mid 30s
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Mid 30s
Friday: Partly cloudy. Low/mid 40s
Saturday: Rain showers likely. Low 40s
Sunday - St. Patrick's Day: Mostly cloudy and cool. Near 40 (we will try to keep it dry!...hoping for some luck-o-the-Irish!)
Monday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. Low 40s
