A Winter Storm Warning continues for Ashland, Richland, Holmes, Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties through Wednesday 12:00 PM. Between 3 and 6 inches of snow could fall with winds from 15 to 25 mph across these areas.
A Winter Weather Advisory continues for Huron, Wayne, and Stark counties through Wednesday 4:00 PM.
As always, this next winter storm is about location, location, location.
Southern areas have a better chance to get the better accumulations than northern areas.
The big line of snow that stretches from Wisconsin to Kentucky will pivot as a southern area of low pressure strengthens.
As that pivot is taking place, northern Ohio will have a very tight gradient of snow accumulations from north to south.
Areas along the lakeshore may not end up with any snow accumulation at all, while those in Richland, Ashland, Holmes, Tuscarawas and Carroll counties will likely get 2" to 4" (perhaps 5").
We are literally on the edge of this storm system and any shifts in track could mean more snow north or less snow south.
