Cleveland: Man drives car into Lake Erie

CLEVELAND -- A man safely escaped an icy plunge in his car Sunday night when he accidently drove down a boat ramp and right into Lake Erie.

Cleveland and Bratenahl police, along with EMS, responded to the Inner City Yacht Club, located off North Marginal Road.

The driver was not injured, though he seemed disoriented.

His car went right though the ice, and a tow truck was needed to get the vehicle out of the water.
