Christmas Eve has arrived so you may be asking the question: Where is Santa right now?

According to the Norad Santa Tracker 2012,  Santa Claus is already on his way on Christmas Eve.

By 7:30 a.m., he was in Australia and had delivered more than 700 million gifts.

Want to know where Santa is another way?

Volunteers staff the NORAD station and take calls for a 24-hour shift at 877-HI-NORAD (877-446-6723), telling callers when Santa is expected at their house.

Still, inquiring young minds everywhere are likely to have a few burning questions like - "How does Santa get around the whole world in one night?" or "How does Santa get into houses without a fireplace?"

The NORAD Santa Tracker is a "joint U.S.-Canada command responsible for protecting the skies over both nations, and says its Santa-tracking rite was born of a humble typo in a newspaper ad in 1955."
