FirstEnergy: About 50,000 still without power

FirstEnergy crews are still working to restore power to nearly 50,000 people in Northeast Ohio following Superstorm Sandy.

Cuyahoga County was the hardest hit in Northeast Ohio. Of the remaining outages, about 54,000 are in Cuyahoga County with the highest concentrations in Cleveland, Lakewood, Parma and Bay Village. 

FirstEnergy has released estimated times for when communities impacted by Superstorm Sandy will have power restored.  The company says that many customers in these cities will be restored well before the times listed.
